There are those who meditate through the use of Music, water, silence and prayer, it is one of the most practised of the Ancient Arts. It soothes, calms, heals, relieves stress, it has been acclaimed for healing many illnesses such as Cancer. We use the various methods of sound (music), wind-chimes, flowing water and simple silence to enable us to be silent and to go within.
The Chi's energy is responsive to thoughts and feelings. It is affected when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings that we may have about ourselves. These particular thought forms will attach themselves to our energy field (Aura) and cause a disruption of the flow within the life force; it can also diminish the function of our bodily organs in several areas within the body and mind. There are a number of ways to restore the flow of the life-force. For example, Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It clears and heals the energy pathways, allowing the Chi to flow unimpeded. Similarly, certain stones and crystals are considered to be in tune with the chakras, and can be used to cleanse the chakra and restore balance. 01: Muladhara, RootFirst or root (muladhara) chakra - located at the base of the spine. 02: Svadhisthana, SacralSecond or sacral (svadhisthana) chakra - located about two inches below the navel. 03: Manipura, Solar PlexusThird or solar plexus (manipura) chakra - located in the solar plexus region. 04: Anahata, HeartFourth or heart (anahata) chakra - located in the centre of the chest. 05: Vishuddha, ThroatFifth or throat (vishuddha) chakra - located in the throat. 06: Ajna, Third EyeSixth or third eye (ajna) chakra - located in the forehead. 07: Sahasrara, CrownSeventh or crown (sahasrara) chakra - located at the top of the head.
